If the Remote Picture Server was running as a service uninstall it first as a service:
Right click on the icon in the system tray
Click on the Uninstall As WindowsNT Service menu item
Check if the Uninstall As WindowsNT Service became grayed out and when it did proceed with the uninstallation of the program.
Terminate Remote Picture Server. Select Start – Settings – Control Panel – Add/Remove Programs. Find Remote Picture Server and click on the Change/Remove button.
