Very simple to use windows DLL for asynchronous downloading. The package includes the VB 6.0 source code of an ActiveX wrapper and a VB sample application. It also provides source code for a custom control that displays progress for unlimited downloads in the same time.
The DLL also supports segmented downloading and compressed file transfer and it can resume interrupted downloads. Segmented means splitting a larger file to smaller segments and downloading them in the same time to achieve higher speed when the connection allows it. The gzip internal compression is automatically used when the web server supports it.
